What Makes Up Digital Marketing

Digital marketing is more than just marketing your products to your target people on a platform. It’s an ecosystem of specialities which includes SEO, social media, digital analytics, content marketing, CRM, ecommerce, and more; each has its own function, but all working together toward the same goal: helping brands connect with the right audience in the right place at the right time.

It’s one of the most dynamic, most interesting, yet ever-evolving industries and it’s the foundation I’m building my career on moving forward.

How I Plan to Apply It

I’ve started my career navigating Digital Marketing and after pursuing further studies on it, I’m working on giving my current and future projects strategic edge. I’ve had a background on content strategy and copywriting which includes understanding on audiences, creating the right message, and making content work for brands.

Going forward, I want to bring together creativity and strategy where I can use data and insights to inform the content I create and use storytelling to make the content resonate more. Whether it’s building out an SEO strategy, auditing web content, or planning a social media content calendar, I want every decision I make to be grounded in digital marketing thinking.

At the end of the day, creating content is nothing without proper strategy and execution.
